PCB had filed a case against the BCCI for not honoring the Memorandum of Understanding between the two boards. According to this agreement, from 2015 to 2023, India had to play in six bilateral series against Pakistan, which BCCI did not accept.
The Indian Cricket Board's plea was that they were not playing for Pakistan because they did not allow it.
